Step Up for Survivors
October 12 to October 29
Help us fill Safe Haven's shelves with household essentials. We are collecting items for our local domestic violence shelter, and on October 30 Afya will deliver everything we have gathered.
How to give
Drop off: Bring your items to our office at 119 3rd St South, Suite 2, Columbus, MS 39701. We do not have set drop off hours, so give us a call if you want to make sure someone is there.
Pickup: Prefer that we come to you? Call 662.443.5506 and we will arrange a pickup.
Last day to give: October 29. Everything collected goes to Safe Haven on October 30.
What Safe Haven needs
- Paper towels and toilet paper
- Plastic cups, plates, and utensils
- High efficiency (HE) laundry detergent, including some for sensitive skin
- Deodorant
- Size 4 and 5 diapers
- Cleaning supplies
- Soap, including some for sensitive skin

Step Up for Survivors Community Event
Drop off your items, connect with local resources, and join us for a balloon release at 12 p.m. to honor survivors. Columbus Soccer Complex, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
