Afya Ambassadors

Meet the students at the heart of our work. Afya Ambassadors are middle school, high school, and college students exploring behavioral health careers across rural Mississippi through mentorship, stipends, and field placements. Their program is MSBHCOP, the Mississippi Behavioral Health Careers Opportunity Program, building a compassionate pipeline of behavioral health professionals.

RWHAP Part B — Federal HIV Care Program
A federally funded program expanding access to comprehensive HIV medical care, ADAP medications, case management, and support services for low-income, uninsured, and underinsured individuals across Mississippi.

Stability After Violent Experiences
A survivor-centered program supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. SAVE provides trauma-informed crisis intervention, safety planning, court accompaniment, and individualized advocacy.
